Wilson Salt are accredited to ISO 9001 which provides the framework for a quality management system that helps businesses identify risks and opportunities, while taking action to address these risks and opportunities that are proportionate to their potential impact on products and services.
This standard is also based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and promoting continual improvement.
Checking that our system works is a vital part of ISO 9001, in order to do this we perform internal audits to check how this quality management system is working.
This preventative, risk-based approach to quality covers a wide range of topics, including our supplier’s top management commitment to quality, its customer focus, the adequacy of its resources, employee competence, process management (for production, service delivery and relevant administrative and support processes), quality planning, design of the products and services that they provides, review of incoming orders, purchasing, the appropriate monitoring and measurement of its processes, products and services are also needed to ensure conformity, its processes to resolve customer complaints, corrective actions, and a requirement to drive improvement.
